After having worked for years in the field of human rights, Serena is now responsible for welcoming, sending and coordinating the volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps at the association. For Serena, Xena was the springboard for the discovery of new worlds, first in 2007 with the participation in a Cultural Exchange on Active Citizenship in Poland, and later in 2012 with a European Voluntary Service in Martinique. She loves traveling and is passionate about everything connected with personal growth and group dynamics. From 2019 to 2021 she traveled ‘backpacking’ between Central and South America, visiting various eco-sustainable communities and participating in various solidarity projects. Serena holds a three-year degree in Psychology from the University of Padua, a three-year degree in Modern and Western Languages and Literatures and a Master’s Degree in Tourism Economics from the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice.
